An Oklahoma woman who placed a 911 call after her husband, the fire chief of Nichols Hill, was shot and killed Tuesday evening was arrested and booked on a first-degree murder complaint in connection with his death Friday.
According to officials, 52-year-old Rebecca Louise Bryan was booked in the Canadian County Jail in connection with the shooting death of her husband, Keith Bryan, earlier in the week at their house in Mustang.
Rebecca Bryan called police Tuesday and said a young man wearing a hooded sweatshirt walked into their living room and shot her husband in the head. Keith Bryan was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital where he died Wednesday morning.
Officials said they believe the gun, shell casings, a glove and a blanket, which they found in the dryer, belong to Rebecca Bryan.
The case is still under investigation and formal charges have not been filed.
